Tamsin Green ‘Looking’ 2008, Installation view: West Space, Bourke Street Mall, 2008. Photography by Christo Crocker

Looking is part of an ongoing investigation by Tamsin Green into representations of vision.

Two films have been produced, one on a contemporary camera and the other on an antique 8mm camera; a kind of visual time machine. While the contemporary narrative is installed almost as an obstruction within the space, the more romantic narrative, created with the antique apparatus, will require an exchange.

Tamsin Green completed Masters in Fine Art at Monash University. She is actively involved in the Melbourne ARI network as a curator, writer, practitioner and advocate.
