If you had a chance to kill one of the world’s leaders, would you? With every opportunity to do so, could you pull the trigger? Or would you shoot blindly into the sky in self-loathing aggression? I mean, they have given you everything. Oil. Convenience. Freedom… even if they have put you through hell to get there.
By reworking Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey and Point Break, Tim Hillier forces Keanu Reeves to face just this dilemma through a multi-screen video installation.
Tim Hillier graduated from VCA in 2007, and has shown video and photography in New York, Vancouver, Sydney and Melbourne.
