“Extended Moment”
Jeremy Eaton

Extended Moment is the continuation of a spatial and sculptural investigation that morphs, accumulates and collapses over the duration of the exhibition.
Utilising West Space's backspace as a transient site, Jeremy Eaton creates a materially suggestive composition that will subtly vary in tone on a daily basis. Drawing in multiple references, the work aims to consider the way objects are capable of stretching a moment through the memories, narratives and impressions that we attach to them. In this space objects come to feel like scraps or detritus - acting as fragile traces that describe intimate encounters.
Jeremy Eaton is a Naarm/Melbourne based artist whose practice spans sculpture, installation, photography, drawing and collage.
