Exhaustion Builds comprises sculptural works by Lauren Burrow that objectify emotional states. The sculptures articulate efforts made by bodies to level with their environments, like a rescue dog shedding its winter coat in the heat.
Lauren Burrow is an artist in Naarm/Melbourne who works across sculpture, installation, drawing and text amongst other artforms. Burrow‘s practice is research-based and often takes the form of conceptually defined projects that engage social issues ranging from ecology to the wide-spread use of prescription medication in our society.
