Shops and shopping provide the role of acciden­tal art at Melbourne Central. There is a visual spectacle on display: from piles of identical goods stacked on shelves to elaborate window displays to the highly considered dress codes of shop assis­tants. Rozalind Drummond will be in residence at The West Wing to create a series of photographs of shoppers, shop assistants and other shopping ephemera at Melbourne Central.
