Three contemporary drawing practitioners will turn The West Wing into a room-sized drawing. Conflating individual techniques while using the space as a laboratory to investigate the Ways and Means of contemporary drawing practice. The drawing will emanate from the architecture it inhabits and respond to the gestures of each collaborating artist’s marks. The West Wing will become both studio and artwork, and visitors to the space will be able to look through and see the work evolve. The predominately unscripted image will slowly reveal itself towards the end of the collaborative residency.
