where I floated in a dream that hovered between bliss and nightmare

This installation takes the form of a surreal underground landscape – a fantastical gothic garden, where time slows then stops. I'm interested in how people move their ‘spiritual’ desires between different objects and spaces. How certain places and things can have a spiritual power, how objects become imbued with a power above and beyond their materiality.

Sally Blenheim is an RMIT Media Arts graduate working in such diverse mediums as interactive video, animation and light installation. In 2006 she completed a residency at Gasworks Gallery London, supported by the British Council Australia’s Realise Your Dream competition.
