The fifth dimension is a new direction in which movement is possible; it is a place and a situation. Under Orbit’s Light takes a glimpse of this climactic parallel universe. It is a black, desperate, cathartic and dark romance, periods of past time loop upon themselves and keep spinning, senses are heightened, and suffering is eroticised.

Sophia Hewson completed a Bachelor of Fine Art degree (First Class Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2007 and is currently painting five days a week in her Collingwood studio. Hewson is represented in Melbourne by Lindberg Contemporary Art.
