Animal parts are recycled to make mechanical sound art. We eat animals. We wear animals. Animal parts have been a part of instrument building from prehistoric times.

The human voice. The animal voice. We listen to sound of flesh machines. Is there a spirit in those bones? – or is it that;

I would devour your trembling and raw trembling raw so raw flesh trembling in a lacrimotional and stomachtorn frenzy panting the screamriven writhe just to have you alive again.

James Hullick is a composer and installation artist currently completing his PhD at RMIT’s School of Art.
