Decor raised issues surrounding the convergence of consumer culture and art, as epitomised in domestic objects and space. The work was placed in an office environment – the Victorian governments arts funding body offices suggesting the conflation of ‘work’ space into ‘home’ space. A modified version of the exhibition with some new work was presented as the opening exhibition at the new West Space premises.
