Companion Planting

Tracy Sarroff

9 Sep 2005 - 24 Sep 2005 · West Space · Gallery 2
Opening: Thursday 8 September 2005, 6-8pm

Points of reference in this exhibition include ideas of genetic engineering, mutation, biodiversity and personal experiences of gardening.

Companion Planting’ references these practices somewhat by creating an installation of plant-like drawings that one would see in a science fiction film.

This array of ‘plant life’ creates an environment of unusual and varied forms and colours.

Some proliferate appendages as mutated by toxic pollution, whilst others seem to be dissected to reveal their unique structures.
