Kelly Fliedner

Title: Program Co-ordinator

Kelly Fliedner is a curator and writer and has been the Program Coordinator of West Space since September 2009. She is currently completing an Art History Masters in Research at the University of Melbourne, considering the interdisciplinary practices of artists working from and presenting works at the Melbourne Clifton Hill Community Music Centre during the 1980s. Kelly’s research has more broadly focused on early postmodern theory presented in Australian art journals such as Art & Text, Tension, Vox, On the Beach and Lip, and experimental performance and sound art from Australia in the ‘80s. She was previously Magazine Coordinator for un Magazine based in Melbourne and Program Coordinator of Punctum in regional Victoria.
